MEC Gade speaks on the performance of the EC in the 2024 NSC Examinations

It gives me pleasure to give announce on the performance of the Eastern Cape in the 2024 National Senior Certificate Examinations. The Grade 12 class of 2024 is the 11th cohort to sit for the National Senior Certificate Examination based on CAPS. It is a cohort that entered Grade 1 in 2013. They most probably had a fairly stable and conducive teaching and learning environment up to 2019, when their Grade 8 class was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
