West Bank High School losses a learner on hiking trail

The Eastern Cape Department of Education has learned with great sadness the death of West Bank High School Grade 11 learner at the Amatola mountain hiking trail. This happened during a school excursion that has become an annual event for FET classes for the school is meant to be part of PET (Physical Exercise Task) activities.

EA improves results in Mathematical Literacy

alking about the impact brought about by the Educator Assistants in Schools, Mdibanisi Senior Secondary School Principal, Zithobele Pikoli said, "the biggest improvement we have seen at our school, is the area of Mathematical Literacy, where an EA has dedicated their time to this area, teaching grade 10-12, achieved a remarkable improvement in terms of results, from 60% in 2020 to 70.7% in 2021.
