The SASA-II Age Group Games hosted by the ECDoE and the South African Sports Association for the intellectually impaired (SASA-II) are still underway at Nelson Mandela University. The learners have been doing exceptionally well with the EC Team leading in all sports codes.

Basketball (Boys) 1st Place - Eastern Cape, 2nd Place- Gauteng, 3rd- North West
Netball: Eastern Cape leading by 6 points
Futsal: 1st Place - Eastern Cape, 2nd- Limpopo, 3rd- Gauteng
