The Eastern Cape Education MEC, Fundile Gade today, Thursday, February 22nd, officially hands-over and opens the first of its kind in the area newly-built Mfesane Secondary School in Nelson Mandela Bay District, Gqeberha.
The school handover is part of honouring promises made by the Eastern Cape Provincial government to community of building them a school closer to home since their kids were travelling long distances to get proper schooling.
The R80 million state of the art Accelerated Schools Infrastructure Development Initiative (ASIDI) school will start from Grade 8 up to Grade 12. Details of the event are as follows:
