MEC donates 100 School shoes to learner's from OR Tambo Inland

MEC for Eastern Cape Department of Education in Partnership with MTN Foundation Donated 100 school Shoes ,25 tablets and 100 school backpacks to Joubert Ludidi Senior Secondary School in Qumbu.

This forms part of the back-to-School campaign that aims at encouraging all stakeholders to participate in promoting teaching and learning at all Schools.

Ntombozuko Motloung from MTN Foundation said it was an easy decision to partner with The MEC's office to help the learners in rural areas to be able to have access to the internet to make learning easy for them.

She further said, it is a 3-year strategic plan to ensure that schools such as Joubert especially those in rural Areas get to engage in digital way of learning and teaching in the same way as those schools in suburb areas.
