Human Resource Development (HRD) conducted a 5 day implementation plans for 40 officials from the public service at Trinset in Mthatha and Mandla Makupula Education Institute in East London.

The purpose of these training was to capacitate employees of the department who are in Human Resource Development field to broaden their scope of work in understanding of their work, and to promote customer satisfaction and to link the strategic objectives of the department.

The training was also aimed at transferring knowledge and skills to the employees of the HRD as they are the key in grooming people who are in public service and the employees need to be relevant as they implement their programmes.

All this is done with an understanding that happy and healthy employees are more productive. Employees will gain credits towards certificate programme relating to Human Resource Development.
