The Eastern Cape Department of Education Acting Head of Department (HoD), Sharon Maasdorp extends best wishes and care to the family of Voorpos primary school Grade 5 learner, Sisipho Yoza who is awaiting a heart transplant, in Gauteng.

Maasdorp urged the Eastern Cape community to join her in prayer for the healing of this learner while awaiting a heart donor, "Our prayers are with the family of our learner, during this difficult period. We believe that our strength is in our unity, hence we only hope for mercy for this family", said Maasdorp.

"Together, lets extend our well dwishes, support and comfort the Yozas with our prayers in the quest for the healing of their child" pleaded Maasdorp.
