ECDoE to host Orange Day Campaign against GBV and femicide

The Eastern Cape department of Education will tomorrow, Thursday, June 3, 2021 host a on going orange day campaign against gender-based violence and femicide at the Makanda Education District Office, Sarah Baartman District at 12:00.
The programmes focuses on eliminating the gender based violence against young women and femicides in our communities, as well as to create a world free from violence against young women.
Therefore, the ECDoE Youth and Special Programme Unit has been mandated by the Office of the MEC to co-ordinate and to implement these equality programmes to designated groups, "Young women and people living with disabilities".
