The Eastern Cape Department of Education will hold an SRRP summit in East London at the Mandla Makupula Learning Institute, today,  Monday, November 6th, 2021 at 07:00 am.

Primarily, the summit is aimed at improving SRRP conceptualisation through the clarification of roles and responsibilities of all role players, internal and external to ECDoE.

The summit also seeks to ensure alignment of the program to policies that interface with SRRP implementation such as transport policy. Improving quality education through adequate schools resourcing and improved stakeholder relations will also be part of the summit discussions.

All media is invited and attending journalists will be afforded one on one interviews with the departmental leadership. Details are as follows.
