ECDoE condemns Cambridge High School Bullying

The Eastern Department of Education condemns the bullying incident involving two Cambridge high school learners in the  Buffalo City Education district which took place last week.

In a  recorded video that went viral, a boy wearing a white school shirt  is seen assaulting the victim several times while also chocking him with another hand.

The Department strongly condemns this incident and has instructed the district to meet Cambridge high's School Management team and the School Governing Body to urgently investigate the matter and bring to book every one involved in the squabble.

This morning, the department will also deploy psychosocial teams to provide counseling to the victim and all learners adversely affected by this terrible incident.
