The Eastern Cape Department of Education MEC, Fundile Gade in partnership with the Vodacom Foundation will tomorrow, Tuesday, June 1st , 2021 award best sustainable living competition winning schools for their innovative measures to ensure food security at Cenyu  primary school at 10:00 am. 
 
This event meant to encourage schools to lead in inculcating agricultural mindset amongst learners, which will guaranteee food security for these communities as locals can also learn from this initiative and use the skills at home for themselves. In addition, the awards are also meant to inspire learners to pursue careers in agriculture. 
 
A second session is scheduled to start at 14:00 in Zwelitsha wherein the MEC will official introduce the newly-appointed Head of Department to the employees and education stakeholders.

First Event (Awards Ceremony)
