Eastern Cape Department of Education MEC Fundile Gade, will on June 02, 2023 lead a delegation sending off four provincial learners to international table tennis, and swimming championship in Germany and Japan, at the VW Pavillion, Gqeberha at 11:00 am.

Of the three learners, that are part of a cohort from the provincial special schools, one of them will represent South Africa in Wheelchair Tennis championships to be held in Japan.

Two of these learners will be heading for Germany to compete in Table Tennis and swimming championships.

The department also hopes to inspire and encourage other learners with special needs to seize the opportunities presented to them by their government in extra curriculum activities.
