MEC GADE TO RECEIVE A DONATION OF SANITATION FACILITIES FROM SIBANYE STILWATER MINING COMPANY IN OR TAMBO EDUCATION DISTRICT  

The Eastern Cape MEC of Education Mr. Fundile Gade will receive a donation of the Sanitation Facilities by Sibanye Stillwater Mining Company to seven schools in the O.R Tambo District Municipality. 

The handover ceremony will take place on Thursday, 10 August 2023 at Marubeni Primary School in Libode, Eastern Cape.    

MEC Gade will be joined at the handover event by Executive Mayor of O.R Tambo District Municipality Cllr. Mesuli Ngqondwana, Sibanye-Stillwater ‘Vice President for Social Sustainability, Sibongile Zikalala and other officials from Government, Unions and Community based organisations.   

The schools that will benefit from the sponsorship by Sibanye Stillwater Mining are Dininkosi Primary, Dlukulwana Junior Secondary and Marubeni Primary in the OR Tambo Coastal; Candulwandle Primary, Mqanduli Primary and Vulingcobo Primary in the OR Tambo Inland including Ndlantaka Primary in the Alfred Nzo West District.
