This is the initiative of the Eastern Cape History Planners and Teachers. 

The main objective of the Association is to provide a platform for and aspiring to share marginalise and local histories.

It seeks to entrench the significance of the Indigenous Knowledge Systems in and outside classroom.

This will also elevate History as the key integration area in our province as it demands that the Department of Education (DoE), Municipalities, Museums, Department of Arts Sports, and Culture (DSRAC) work collaboratively to ensure that the History of our province is documented.
