EC RURAL SCHOOLS GET MOBILE SCIENCE LABORATORY

Teaching and learning science by rural schools got a boost due to a partnership between the Eastern Cape Department of Education, SASOL, Department of Science innovation(DSI) and the South African Agency for Science and Technology and advancement (SAASTA) has led to the launch of Mobile Science Laboratory on Monday, June 12, 2023, at Albertina Nontsikelelo Sisulu Science centre in Cofimvaba , Chris Hani East education district, 10:00 am.

This initiative will open and provide rural learners with various opportunities to learn and experiment science.

The launch of this initiative will definitely ensure learners are taught and exposed to science at a tender age.

The community is expected to encourage learner participation. This is because exposing them to science, will play a crucial role in the ongoing intellectual development of learners. Details of the event are as follow:
