The Eastern Cape Department of Education, will tomorrow, 01 August 2024 be hosting and conducting the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Oral History Project Provincial eliminations at the Mandla Makupula Education Leadership Institute in East London, from 14:00.

The Inkosi Albert Luthuli Oral History Programme is an initiative which aims at celebrating the lives ofsignificant, sung or unsung heroes and heroines who have brought about democracy, peace, unity and Nation Building.

Additionally, It aims to create platforms for engagements for all learners as well as History and Social Sciences educators across the various phases. The platform assist them to express their own thoughts, feelings and ideas on significant historical events that occur within the country, the continent and globally. 

All Media houses are invited, and attending journalists will be afforded an opportunity for one-on-one
interviews with the MEC including present partners.
