EC Education to award best Grade 7 maths olympiads winners

Eastern Cape department of Education will tomorrow, October 4th, 2024 host the Grade 7

Annual Math Olympiad Awards ceremony at the BCM Inner City High School, Buffalo City

Metro Education District, at 10:00 am.

These awards seek to promote mathematical excellence, problem-solving skills, and

critical thinking amongst Grade 7 learners. The winners will represent the province

nationally on a date to be set. Details of the event are as follows:

Venue: BCM Inner City High School (East London)

Time: 10:00 am

All media is invited and attending journalists will be afforded an opportunity for one-on

one interviews with the departmental leaders present.
