The Eastern Cape Department of Education MEC, Fundile Gade accompanied by the Nyandeni Traditional leadership will tomorrow, Thursday May 2, 2024 handover hundred (100) school shoes to destitute learners of Ndamase high school, in Ngqeleni, OR Tambo Coastal education district at 08:00 am.

The main purpose of the program is to ensure learner retention at school while assisting disadvantaged learners to enjoy education, driven by Ubuntu.

The two phased program will start with the address of the learners by the MEC at the assembly lines, in the morning.

Phase two of the program will start at 11:00 am wherein the MEC is expected to handover shoes, and deliver a keynote address at the main event scheduled as follows:
